beda69 on "rename wp-admin slug"

i hope i am in the right section, please correct if wrong.
i have been trying every plugin out there but they either don't work or shot down my site.
problem:
i have MU installation, and i have a network built with Buddy press.
every new user will be able to set up personal sites etc.
so far so good.
i have set up personal login/logout/recover-slugs.
but once a user is logged in and goes to the "edit site" section, he will of course be directed to the "dashboard", and in the URL he will see something like:
http://www.mysite/user/wp-admin
i want this slug to be anything, but WITHOUT any "wp-" in it.
THIS IS NOT BECAUSE OF SECURITY, i know "security by obscurity" etc does no work.
I WANT THIS BECAUSE OF A ESTHETIC REASON.
is it not possible AT ALL to change the /wp-admin/ slug into something like ###/admin/###??????????????
i was able to change the "wp-user" slug, all is changeable, only the site-sdmin slug always has this horrible "wp-" in it!!!!
